Privateer Gen 2 Bikes Launched
This year marked the debut of our Gen 2 Privateer bikes, a platform three years in the making and rigorously tested over 500,000 meters of descent. Designed to redefine what matters to privateer racers—geometry, kinematics, durability, and serviceability—the Gen 2 range was a major milestone for us.
What makes Gen 2 Special?
- A-L-P Suspension: Built for predictability and confidence, this platform combines a coil-like feel with excellent pedaling support and bottom-out resistance, ensuring stability in any riding situation.
- Balanced Geometry: Features like size-specific chainstays and adjustable rear centres provide riders with a tailored experience, boosting handling and control.
- Mixed Wheel Compatibility: The flip-chip system allows riders to switch seamlessly between 29-inch and 27.5-inch rear wheels without compromising geometry.
- Durability Enhancements: Oversized Enduro Max bearings, secondary seals, and robust frame protection mean less wrenching and more riding.
These innovations culminated in two standout models: the Privateer 141, perfect for all-mountain and trail riding, and the Privateer 161, a beast for enduro and bike park laps. Both bikes have received rave reviews, and their performance on the trails speaks volumes.
